Pricing
Our rates are very
competitive with the market rates, largely because our
advertising and marketing is so efficient and cost-effective.
In other words, we don't have as many of the kinds of costs
we need to pass on to clients.
Please note that we also offer a sliding scale of rates,
so money and coaching are more independent issues.
The Packages. Our coaching rates are
$95 per 60 minute session with a minimum of 3 sessions
for $285. Our emails and check-ins are included in this
fee. We offer a sliding scale for those whose ability to
pay is truly limited.
Most clients take 3 or 4 sessions per month. Four are more effective; three can
reduce your cost. We play all this by ear; you don't have to sign up for a specific
frequency.
Clients who are not eligible for sliding scale pricing
but need to be budget-conscious can make creative arrangements
with their coach, such as 30-minute sessions (instead of
the usual 45 or even 60) or fewer sessions per month (such
as 2 or 3 instead of 4).

* For reasons that simply don't apply to everyone, coaching
has traditionally followed a model of three calls per month.
This means there is a two-week break after each month.
Because we don't think such breaks are beneficial - like
the 3-month school breaks during which students have been
proven to lose a huge amount of momentum, and have to spend
a great part of the next year reviewing what was learned
before - we encourage 4 calls per month to keep clients'
goals always at the tops of their minds and therefore
far more likely to be met.
** The pricing ranges noted above depend on several factors,
including the length of the coaching engagement, the particular
coach, whether any specials are in effect, and the difficulty
of the coaching engagement.
Duration
We suggest that at least 3 months be dedicated for
successful coaching. Not only are gains more difficult
to lock in if coaching ends any sooner, they can, in rare
cases, be difficult to see in the short-term of a month
or so. The vast majority of the time, even a month is enough
to see some improvement in your situation, but a month
or two can sometimes be too short to allow perspective.
Change doesn't always take place dramatically. In an earthquake,
sometimes the tectonic plates shift imperceptibly, but
they do move. At the same time, because our coaching philosophy
is that you already have the inner resources on which to
rely, coaching rarely lasts longer than a year.
